The Board of Mayor and Aldermen have submitted a series of revisions to the Atoka Town Charter to the Tennessee State Legislature for consideration. The Town Charter, the document formally establishing the Town and its form of government, was last revised in 2006.

Delinquent 2010 property tax payments must be received by Friday, March 30, 2012 at the Atoka Town Hall. Unpaid 2010 property taxes will be turned over to the Chancery Court for collection.
