Tipton County Burn Ban

A Burn Ban has been issued for Tipton County, TN on behalf of County Executive Huffman, Tipton County Fire Chiefs Association, and Tipton County Emergency Management. This is due to the hot and dry conditions that has settled in across West Tennessee and Tipton County, and to keep our Fire Departments safe from unnecessary responses in these dangerously hot conditions. Tipton County is. included in a ''Elevated Fire Danger'' outlook due to low relative humidity values and dry fuels.

leaves, brush
fence rows, ditch banks
construction debris, boards, plywood, decking, cardboard, etc.
fields, grassland
gardens
wooded areas
campfires
burn barrels
household waste
This ban will continue until further notice, and weather conditions improve.
